This is short because there isn't much to describe. TryStamped has no user accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, and no advertising trackers. It does keep a count of what gets searched — with nothing attached to it that could say who searched.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, and similar — in order to serve pages, protect the site from attacks and abuse, and produce aggregate traffic counts. TryStamped does not use this data to build a profile of you and does not combine it with anything else. Cloudflare's handling of it is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you run a search, the term you typed is sent to TryStamped's server function, which forwards it to a third-party marketplace API in order to retrieve listings.
TryStamped also keeps a running count of the search terms themselves, of which pages are opened, and of which listings get clicked through to. This is how it works out which products people are looking for and which searches come back with nothing worth showing — which is what decides what gets added next.
What that store holds: the text that was typed, how many times it has been searched, the date, and whether the search returned nothing or returned nothing that passed the Verified Working checks. For pages: the path (with any query string stripped) and a count. For listings: which listing, how many times it was opened or clicked, and the date.
What it does not hold, ever: IP addresses, user agents, cookies, session ids, visitor ids, referrers, or any other identifier. Nothing in it links one search to another, so there is no way to reconstruct any individual's activity from it — not by us, and not by anyone who obtained the file. It is a tally, not a history.
The store is capped in size, keeps no more than the most-searched terms and the last 30 days of daily totals, and is visible only to the site's operator behind the admin password.
TryStamped sets no cookies for visitors. It stores exactly one thing in your browser's local storage: a flag recording that you dismissed the notice bar at the bottom of the page, so it does not reappear on every page you open. It holds the value 1 and nothing else — no identifier, no history — it never leaves your browser, and clearing your site data removes it. (A single sign-in cookie exists for the operator's own admin area; it is never set on a visitor's browser.) Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors; it exists to keep the site up, not to track you.
If you email hello@trystamped.app, we receive your message, your email address, and whatever you chose to include. It is used to answer you. It is not added to any list, because no list exists.
Cloudflare hosts this site and routes its email. Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers when a page loads. Marketplace and retailer APIs receive your search terms in order to return listings. Affiliate networks may set their own tracking when you click an outbound affiliate link and land on a retailer's site — at that point you are on their property, under their privacy policy, not this one.
Once you click through to a retailer, TryStamped's privacy practices stop applying and theirs begin. We have no visibility into and no control over what a third-party retailer collects. Read their policy if it matters to you.
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give people rights to access, correct, delete, and port personal data held about them, and to object to certain processing. TryStamped honours those rights — with the caveat that in most cases there is nothing to act on, because we hold no account, no profile, and no identifiable record of your visit. If you have emailed us, we can delete that correspondence on request.
TryStamped does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If TryStamped ever adds analytics, an account system, or email capture, this policy will be updated before that feature goes live, and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Meaningful changes will be noted on the site.
